Those moments of intense pressure…
when everything is moving fast and we don’t stop, because we’re chasing something bigger.
Then, every now and then, time gives us a pause.
We slow down, look around, and realise the ground beneath us isn’t the same anymore.
The context has changed.
And so have we.
Only then do we notice the milestones we’ve already passed, the wins we didn’t have time to acknowledge because of the speed we were moving at.
These words from Les Bruzsa made me think about that.
And how powerful it is that, in our industry, those quiet achievements can be seen right there on the ground, in the work moving through the port, in the systems that now exist, in the impact of years of effort.
There’s something special about seeing hard work turn into something real.
